Friday 2/16/18 - Arrived in San Diego and have a camping spot on the Pacific Ocean. We have traveled 4,100 miles in 16 days and burned LOTS of diesel to get here. The Chula Vista Campground is very nice and adjacent to a City Park on the San Diego Bay.

And in Wendy style we couldn't sit still so we visited Tory Pines on the ocean on our way to visit with our former Parkton neighbor Marti Merritt. It was great to catch up with her.... it's been years!

Oh did I mention our visit to Tory Pines was a 1,000 ft elevation gain which we hiked to get up to the top of the cliff.
