White Sands NP - New Mexico - 275 sq miles of sand dunes (silica) up to 60 ft tall. We also went to Carlsbad NM - caverns. Wendy and I descended more then 830 feet to the floor of the cave. The "Big Room" is 1.25 miles in circumference and 250 ft tall. The areas explored so far stretch 32 miles in total. By far the biggest cave we have ever been through.
