Ft Bowie in the Chiricahua National Monument & Fort, AZ. Great 3 mile round trip hike to visit the 1860's fort ruins - battles with the Apaches. Not much to see, but the hike was a good one through the mountain valleys. The real adventure was the 8 mile dirt road through the mountain pass made for a very bumpy, dusty, long drive.
We also went to the Monument mountain range which was a very cool with unusual rock formations.
And yes Wendy does know how to drive. The 1st time behind the wheel in 3,000 miles ( no camper)
We ended the day headed to a camp spot with a beautiful sunset.
I hope you found a place to wash the camper...lol!
