4/26/18 Travel day. We left Grand Canyon heading towards Flagstaff, AZ which is about a 2 hour drive. Matt and Sammy's flight back home on Saturday is at 7:00 am so we wanted to get closer to the airport. Along the way we stopped in a quirky little town - Williams AZ, founded 1881. The town, located on Route 66, has adopted wholeheartedly the Rt 66 and the 50's theme. So far, Williams is the best section of Route 66 we have visited and is a great place to spend a few hours.

                                                                  Store front.
                                                                    Gas 17 cents!
                                                           Wendy and her new friend.
Mike and Mr. Blue Swede Shoes.
We had lunch at the Cruisers 66 Cafe. Note the hot rod on the roof.

The cafe also had live music and Lucy was jamming with the tunes.
                                                                Supersized burger.

Matt got the Carnivore sandwich-and ate it all.
