4/7/18 Moab - last looks at the Arches/Canyon Lands NP's. We took a drive out along the Colorado River and found a great spot for lunch @ Red Cliffs Lodge. The Lodge was situated right on the Colorado in a canyon. They also had a museum which highlighted the many movies and commercials that were filmed in the area. Many of the old westerns, John Wayne movies etc were staged in the area including Star Wars, Thelma & Louise. It was a lengthy list.

We ended the day with a shopping spree in Moab and a very nice dinner. Tomorrow we say good-bye to Sue and Alan and head to Canyon de Chelly

    Just got caught up on your Arches days--beautiful, huh? It looks like you had great weather while you were there and lots of beautiful hiking opportunities. Jon thinks the Newspaper Rock petroglyph is saying, "Pick up milk before you come home."
