3/12/18 Travel day to Redwoods from Russian Gulch. Our trip across the mountain pass heading east to pickup Rt 101 was again an adventure.

The redwoods hug the road in spots making it interesting with the camper which is 8 ft. wide, 13 ft tall, 34 ft long and with the truck we are about 50 ft long.

Tonight we are staying Elk Country RV Park near the town of Trinidad, Cal. in the Redwoods area along the Pacific coast. The campground is appropriately named. We were surrounded by an Elk herd of approximately 50 to 75. These are pictures out our camper window.

The Big Guy below directed the herd.

Our campground is in a beautiful setting, ocean on one side, mountains on the other and we are sandwiched in the middle.
