3/21/18 - Well the forecast for the Lake Tahoe area included temps down to 7 degrees at night so we ended up renting a house through Airbnb so we would be warm. The challenge when we arrived was fitting the camper in the driveway. Mark and Jen arrived at the house first and spent quite a bit of time digging out the driveway so we would fit the camper. It was a tight fit!

 Well Mark and Jen talked Wendy and me into skiing. Its been at least 12 + years since I skied and even longer for Wendy. The day met us with off and on rain, sleet and snow. The good news we had the slopes to ourselves.

 I have to give Mark and Jen a lot of credit - 1st for pushing Wendy and me to go skiing and 2nd the amount of time and effort it took to get the two little boys on the slopes once we arrived totally fitted. I had to chuckle a little when we were finally all ready to get on the slopes and Mac had to go to the bathroom. Wow all the gear that Jen and Mark spent an hour to get on needed to come off!

Well Wendy and I only made two runs down the bunny slope without falling, but we needed to leave the area with the big rig before a forecasted snow storm hit. We headed east leaving California and in a short distance we were in the high Sierra Desert in Nevada. Below are some of the sights as we left the Tahoe area.
