3/24/18 Day in Zion NP. Weather was perfect, warm and sunny. Zion has a great shuttle bus system in the park which we used to transport our bikes to the end of the park. Our plan was to ride the bikes 8 miles down hill? Worked great!

Sights in the park. Highest peak is 7,900 ft

This is the path to the Narrows where you walk/wade in the river through the very narrow winding section of the canyon.

First time we used the bikes in 8,000 miles! I was really starting wondering whether we would EVER use these things. It was a great way to explore the canyon taking the balance of the day to make it back to our camp site in the park.

The longest tunnel ever, cut through the mountain about a mile long tunnel. Very dark and narrow. We did follow a bus through and they blocked the traffic in the other direction.

At the Narrows section with our good friends and FORMER neighbors Jon and Beth. Unfortunately the Narrows section was closed due to high water from a hard rain the day before we arrived.
