3/27/18 Continued to explore Bryce Canyon with the Luikarts. The day started- at least for some (not me) with sunrise over the canyon.

Today was the big hike day. Our plan was a hike to Mossy Cove in the morning, then in the afternoon for all of us to start out on the Queens Garden Trail. At the trail head for Navajo Mike and Jon would continue on to the Navajo Trail returning to meet the girls on the Ridge trail. Total hike was a 2.9 mile hike with 600 feet of elevation gain.

Queens Garden/Navajo Trail Hike
The sights along the way were just amazing.
There were a number of passageways on the trail cut through the rock. Very cool

Wendy and Beth continued on to the Queens garden.

Jon and Mike heading out on the Navajo trail

The trail narrowed as it started to head back up the cliff to a series of switch backs

Jon trying to look like an accomplished hiker.

The trail did get a bit steep. Didn't expect to have to climb.

We made it to the top of the ridge. Great hike.
